History

A new exciting year has begun and we are looking forward to continued positive relations with our customers, partners and suppliers.

Sales cooperations further expanded.
W + A enters into a distribution partnership with Henkel (Loctite / Teroson) and OKS.

The W + A team grows.
New appointments in IT management, office and field sales led to an increase of 4 new employees in 2014.

Certification to EN ISO 9001 was envisaged with the move to our new premises. This was successfully achieved by the end of the year end and the certificate was issued.
In addition, we further increased the sales team.

W+A becomes trading partner for NSK Deutschland GmbH. In autumn, W+A moves into the new premises in Langenargen. 300 sqm of office space and 1,000 sqm of warehousing space offer potential for a successful 2012.

An eventful year: In spring 2011, W+A celebrates its 10th birthday. The construction work for the new company building in Langenargen begins. W+A goes on Facebook. The sales activities in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria sustainably expanded and additional staff are taken on. 18 people are now employed at W+A in 2011. The fiscal year ends with record sales.

The economic situation steadily calms down and the success story of W+A takes its course. Warehouse staff are be increased and storage capacity expanded. The planning for a new building begins.

Mid-2009, W+A takes over Schmitz Kugellager GmbH, including staff, and opened branch operations in Rheinstetten near Karlsruhe. In addition, more staff are taken on in Tettnang. Despite the difficult economic situation, the fiscal year is completed successfully.

In January 2008, the sales office is expanded and the storage area increased. The regional sales activity is strengthened and the recruitment process continued. W+A now employs 8 people in Tettnang.

In August 2006 Anika Bäuerle, the last missing member of the family, takes up her activity in W+A. The family, under the leadership of Hugo and Sven Bäuerle, is now complete and is more successful from year to year.

W+A goes online. The first website of the company goes active on the World Wide Web. W+A gains in popularity.

In March, W+A Wälzlager un Antriebstechnik GmbH is founded. Both Sven Hugo Bauerle and Hugo Bauerle are appointed as shareholder and managing director, each with 50% of company shares. The success story of the W+A Wälzlager und Antriebstechnik GmbH begins! Staff are steadily built up.

From 1 April Sven Bäuerle takes over sales taskes as an employee. The business is successfully expanded by him.

Thus the company Hugo Bäuerle industry representative was founded in the spring of 1997. The garage and the house were used for storage and offices. The business is run successfully by Herta and Hugo Bäuerle.

At the end of 1996, the headquarters of the IMEX GmbH, due to worsening economic conditions and liquidity problems, filed for bankruptcy, which also affected the branch in Tettnang.

Following the sale of TES GmbH in April 1993 to IMEX GmbH in Leverkusen, the Tettnang branch of IMEX GmbH is established, which was successfully ran by Hugo Bäuerle as branch manager.

After many years of professional experience in the spare parts division of a leading gear manufacturer, Hugo Bäuerle founded the TES GmbH in Weingarten. The aim was to trade in industrial supplies and spare parts for general engineering. Roller bearings became the main business field, and the foundations were set.
