Shaft and support rails
Shafts can be constructed as hollow or solid shafts, whilst support rails are always solid. Hollow shafts are particularly well suited for low-weight applications. Solid shafts can also be provided with threaded holes (radial/axial) to enable an attachment. Support rails are usually made of several parts, at least two- the support body of aluminum and generally one shaft made of steel, which is screwed onto the supporting body.
